In this article am going to recommend a WordPress plugin that can improve your WordPress blog’s response time without much effort .
There are many factors that can slow down your self-hosted WordPress blog . One among them is size of the CSS files in your WordPress theme, if the size of CSS files is too big it will increase your blog load time . CSS Compress is a WordPress plugin by Jeff Minard , that can compresses Style Sheets (CSS) in your WordPress theme and enable your blog to load faster.

Automatically removes comments, new lines, tabs, and gzip compresses (GZIP) any CSS file called with “” Just activating the plugin with the default Kubrick theme will reduce the CSS file from 8.6k to 1.7k
The installation and configuration of this plugin is very simple .All you have to do is
- Download css-compress.php.
- Upload css-compress.php into your plugins directory.
- Activate the plugin .

Sounds like a good idea. It would be a good idea I think to make a copy of the original CSS file first, since if you try to edit the compressed file, the formatting and comments have been removed, so to understand it will by infinitely harder. Still, anything that can be done to speed up WordPress loading is a bonus.
No problem. I understand how nice it is to get comments. I have a rule;
If I read the article then I will add it SM sites and comment…
