I have already written an article about JD Flasher.So if you are new to Sony Ericsson Flashing please check this link first.

And if you are new to JDFlasher Please read this first.In this tutorial am flashing a CID 53 Sony K530i to W660i

The first thing you have to do before installing JDFlasher is to install the USB Drivers.So first Install USB Drivers

Download JDFlasher fr0m Here.

I have attached the video tutorial with this article so that you can check how this is done still i will tell how this is done.There is some problem with youtube embedding we will fix it soon.

• Install USB Drivers
• Extract JDFlasher
• Open JDFlasher
• Press Alt+F1 and then select ‘ just da flasher’.
• Then choose script,port and speed ( db 2010/2020,DCU 60,921600)
• Then select jump into the large rabbit hole.
• Shutdown the Phone remove the battery
• Reinsert it and connect the phone by pressing the ‘c’ button.
• You phone will be detected and a new screen will come.

The Screen have atleast 2 folders named oflash and ofs, There can be more than these 2 folders called bflash and bfs.It depends on the phone model.

To Flash the Main firmware,File system you have to enter Oflash.

And to customize the phone you have to enter ofs.

Part One Flashing Main Firmware

• Start JDflasher.
• Connect phone to JdFlasher as said .
• Enter oflash .
• On right side navigate to firmware location on computer.
• Select firmware in the right side.
• Press F5.
• Click Copy.
• Then Ensure that the option flash as babe image is selected. (babe for firmwares, mbn, fbn)
• Click “Yeah Flash it”.
• There are 460 blocks to be flashed in main so wait until it is finished.

After flashing main a confirmation window will appear please click ok.

Do the same for File System as well.

If the file system doesnt match with the CDA it may show an network error,if this happen then,

• Connect phone as said earlier
• Enter ofs
• Then tpa>>preset>>custom
• Copy the two xml files customize.xml and preloaded_config.xml files into the custom folder fr0m the new cda.
• Exit JDFlasher
• Watch Video for further reference
