Fix “Error -2002: a bad public movie atom was found”
Sometimes when we try and convert a movie into an Ipod format, we get an error message “Error -2002: a bad public movie atom was found in the movie”
Have you ever been going mad having problems importing video files into iTunes? You try to import a video file into iTunes, nothing happens. If you try to open this “bad file” in Quicktime, you get a “Error – 2002: a bad public movie atom” message in a popup box.

guys! i use videora was having this problem and found a solution that may work for the dreaded error 2002—change the conversion type to mpeg4 from H.267 or whatever and all files work now…screw that Tagger software it wouldnt even let me tag anything that wasnt mp3…dont use that AoA or any MP4 converter youll just add stupid unnecessary freeware. changing the settings in videora worked fine fo me
