Really sounded like you couldn’t be arsed writing that lol i just got the vibe from it
I’m not sure where you got your numbers from, but the kgb website claims a 20% archive size, not .001% (or whatever it is) like you claim. I’m blocking this website from my hosts file, and giving it a thumbs down on Stumbleupon.
Wow, so if I have a 1 GB file filled completely with random characters, this’ll compress it down to 10 MB? I think not.
Right… bzip2 can do better…
$ ls -lh xbox-hueg
-rw——- 1 hurr Users 1.0G 2009-05-29 17:40 xbox-hueg
$ bzip2 xbox-hueg
$ ls -lh xbox-hueg.bz2
-rw——- 1 hurr Users 785 2009-05-29 17:40 xbox-hueg.bz2
Oh, I forgot to mention that xbox-hueg was a sparse file created by:
$ dd if=/dev/zero of=xbox-hueg bs=1M count=0 seek=1k
Basically, this is super-lame.

um… how is a 256 bit encryption ‘one of the strongest known to man’
i mean, there a free software out there like truecrypt that offer a blowfish-aes-whirlpool-aes-whirlpool-blowfish encryption… yes… 6 layers of encryption, 2 of thoes 3 are 256 bit, the other is 128 bit… then the key hash is encrypted with a 512 bit encryption… yes.. the hash of the next encryption layer is also encrypted…
its not wrking,i hav tried both versions.in max compression it shows almost same size for the size after cmpression,i dont 9 how these people get these unbeliveble numbers
